The Stiftungsfonds Deutsche Bank is one of the biggest sponsors of the program of the Stifterverbandes für die Deutsche Wissenschaft and also invests in a number of other undertakings.

Together with the Stifterverband, the Stiftungsfonds Deutsche Bank launched a program in September 2016 that helps universities integrate people with a migrant background and refugees. The program aims to make immigrants and refugees more motivated to enter a university and complete their education, accompanies them during their studies, and makes it easier for them to find jobs. Seven universities receive structural support and subsidies enabling them to each award seven annual scholarships.

 

House of Finance at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt

The House of Finance was established on the campus of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt in the fall of 2008 and brings together all of the financial institutions and research facilities together under one roof. Thus, it enables an interdisciplinary approach to scientific education and research in the fields of finance, currency, monetary and financial politics, financial supervision as well as company and capital market law. The House of Finance cooperates closely with the European Central Bank, the Bundesbank, supervisory authorities, and financial service providers at the largest stock exchange in Germany. Between 2011 and 2017, the Stiftungsfonds Deutsche Bank provided the House of Finance Foundation with a total of ten million euros.

ESMT – European School of Management and Technology

ESMT educates entrepreneurial leaders who think globally, act responsibly and respect the individual. ESMT develops and imparts new knowledge to foster sustainable economic growth, incorporating the values and the potential of technology to promote a balanced economic development. From 2015 till 2019, the Stiftungsfonds Deutsche Bank is providing ESMT with a total of 360,000 euros.
